Well, to the disbelief of many, I decided to start our family blog. I figure since I am the worst at keeping a journal and scrapbooking, this might be the right thing to do. I'm sure you will find it a little boring at first, but hopefully I will be a little more creative and entertaining as time goes on.
I guess I will start by filling you in on our last week. Wes had the day off of work for President's day. Luckily he can't do much work when the banks are closed. We went out to Village Inn for a rare occasion of eating out for breakfast. After that, we ran into our friend and neighbor Bill who was planning on "disking" one of his fields that day and invited Case to come along for a ride on his tractor. Needless to say...Case had a wonderful time. We then spent some family time at a local park and had a nice holiday together.
Saturday morning I had the opportunity to take my first cooking class. (I get to take 5 of them this year thanks to a very thoughtful Christmas gift from my hubby). This one was a cake decorating class. My cake did not turn out wonderful, but I learned a lot of good tips and I'm sure the next one will be much better. No more birthday cakes from the grocery store!
One sad note is that Wes sold our Willy's jeep this week. They are going to come and pick it up on Thursday. We never drove it and if we did, we found that we had to keep putting money into it, so I guess it was the right thing to do, but it was fun to have something fun and unique.
I was lucky to catch a rare tender moment between the kids too, so I thought I would add this picture on. They are so cute.

I will bookmark your blog and check it often.
Yeah! I'm excited to read more about your family.
Jill, I'm so impressed with your blog. I'd love to see more photos!
Parker says Wes is not his favorite Uncle now that he sold the Willy.
Bienvenidos to blogworld. Good for you. As soon as I saw that Wes sold the jeep, I knew Parker would be done with him. Welcome to my world. Great picture of Case and Madison at the end!
I love it! I am so glad you started a blog. I myself cannot believe the Willy's sold. We should have bought it when we could. Keep it in the family and all that. The picture at the end is precious.
You're off to a great start! I'm so excited to be able to check in with you guys!
Can't wait to see more! I am addicted to blogging!
